About the odds

Betting is not an investment. Every combination has the same chance of being drawn, and past results do not affect future ones. Caixa publishes the rules, the prize table and the odds for each tier on the Loterias CAIXA website.

Only people 18 or older may play, and gambling should not be treated as a source of income. If playing stops being fun or you feel you have lost control, stop and seek help. Brazil's public health system, the SUS, offers free care at the nearest primary care clinic (UBS) or psychosocial care center (CAPS, including CAPS AD for alcohol and drug problems), and the Disque Saúde 136 line (the SUS ombudsman) can point you to available services. In a crisis, the CVV emotional-support line answers at 188.
