How to read this page
The large number on each card is the temperature the MET Norway model forecasts for this hour; it is not a thermometer reading. The day's high and low come from the official forecast by INMET (Brazil's national weather institute) for the municipality. When INMET has issued a warning for the city, a badge with the number of warnings appears on the card, and the capital's page details the risks and guidance.
The terms used in our texts to describe temperature, humidity and wind (for example, “extreme heat” from 37 °C, “intense cold” down to 5 °C, “dry” air below 30% relative humidity and “strong” wind from 30 km/h) are a RaisLife editorial standard for describing the model’s estimate; they are not INMET (Brazil’s national weather institute) classifications. Official warnings follow INMET’s levels (yellow, orange and red).

Informational forecast, subject to change. In risky conditions (storms, extreme heat, low humidity), follow official warnings from Inmet (the national weather service) and Civil Defense (phone 199). The fire department can be reached at 193.
The temperature shown as “now” is a forecast model estimate for the current hour, not a weather station measurement. INMET (Brazil's national meteorological institute) alerts are reproduced as the institute published them, with a link to the official alerts page.
