Bitcoin falls 4.5%, ether drops 7.1% in 24 hours

Bitcoin fell 4.5% over 24 hours and trades at R$418.700 (Brazilian reais), while ether dropped 7.1% to R$12.310.71, according to Binance and CoinGecko. All seven major coins available on the RaisLife crypto panel (BNB is missing from the data) were down over the period, each down 3% or more, a broad sell-off in prices quoted in Brazilian reais.
Bitcoin and ether slide with the majors
Bitcoin hit a high of R$443.000 and a low of R$415.351 over the past 24 hours, after starting from R$438.283 at the same time the day before. Trading volume on Binance totaled R$56.952,624.94, a figure that covers only that exchange and does not represent the whole market. Ether, which traded at R$13.244.75 a day earlier, lost 7.1%, the steeper drop of the two largest coins, with R$13.057,731.27 in volume on Binance.
Among the other major coins, XRP slipped 5.6% to R$6,723. Litecoin fell 6.4%, Cardano dropped 6.2% and Dogecoin lost 5.2%. Solana, which had cost R$518.90, moved to R$494, a 4.8% decline, with R$4.485,323.39 in volume on Binance. The figures come from the public APIs of Binance and CoinGecko.
Sharper drops among altcoins
Outside the major group, Uniswap posted the panel's biggest loss, 10.3%, falling to R$37.51, with R$4.406,052.495 in volume recorded on CoinGecko. Ethena declined 9.9% to R$0.894527, with R$1.924,713.503 in volume. Stellar fell 7.5%, NEAR lost 7.2% and Sui gave up 7.1%. At the other end, Tron was nearly flat, down 0.5%, and Aave slipped 0.2% to R$716.36.
The volumes cited reflect only what Binance and CoinGecko recorded, not the whole market, and may differ from other sources. Drops of this size in 24 hours illustrate the volatility typical of crypto assets, which can swing sharply in either direction.
Stablecoins in reais: the change is currency-driven
USDT, a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar, rose 0.9% in reais to R$5.5087, with R$442.917,763.93 in volume on Binance. USDC gained 1.0% to R$5.5181. The rise reflects the exchange rate between the dollar and the real, not a rise in their dollar value. Stablecoins carry the risk of losing their peg, when the price drifts away from the reference, as well as issuer risk, and are not covered by the FGC, Brazil's deposit guarantee fund.
