The 2025/26 Superliga, the top club competition in Brazilian volleyball, is over. In the women's tournament, Dentil/Praia Clube took the title, the third in its history in the Superliga, with Gerdau/Minas second and Sesc RJ/Flamengo third. On the men's side, Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei lifted the trophy, the club's tenth in the competition, and Vôlei Renata finished as runner-up.
In promotion and relegation between the top flight and the second tier, Tijuca TC and Renasce Sorocaba were relegated from the women's Superliga, replaced by EC Pinheiros and ABEL Moda Vôlei from Série B; in the men's Superliga, JF Vôlei and Joinville Vôlei were relegated, replaced by Norde Vôlei and Montes Claros Vôlei.

Among national teams, the Nations League, the annual tournament of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), had its 2026 edition decided in July for the women and in August for the men. In the women's tournament, Türkiye won the title, its second in the competition, with Brazil taking silver and Italy bronze. In the men's tournament, Poland won the title, its third in the competition, with the United States taking silver and Slovenia bronze. Brazil's men's team finished 10th.
Italy won both titles at the 2025 World Championship (hosted by Thailand for the women and the Philippines for the men). In the women's tournament, Türkiye was runner-up and Brazil took bronze; in the men's, silver went to Bulgaria and bronze to Poland. Brazil's men finished 17th.
At the Paris Olympics in 2024, Italy won gold in the women's tournament, with silver going to the United States and bronze to Brazil. In the men's tournament, France took gold, followed by Poland (silver) and the United States (bronze).

The full schedule, including the men's, is on ge and on the CBV website.
