National holidays in 2027
Easter 2027 falls on March 28, and it is the starting point for calculating the dates with no fixed day: Good Friday, on March 26; Carnival, with Monday and Tuesday on February 8 and 9; and Corpus Christi, on May 27.
Federal optional days off in 2027 depend on an ordinance from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, which usually comes out at the end of the previous year and has not been published yet. That is why none is listed here: Carnival and Corpus Christi become optional days off only if the ordinance says so.

Federal optional days off in 2027
The ordinance from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services with the optional days off in 2027 has not been published yet, which is why none is listed here. It usually comes out at the end of the previous year. The movable dates above (Carnival, Ash Wednesday and Corpus Christi) are calculated from Easter, but they become federal optional days off only if the ordinance says so.
What about holidays in my state and my city?

State and municipal holidays vary by location: Law 9,093/1995 lets each state set its principal date, and lets each municipality declare the start and end days of its founding centennial year and up to four religious holidays, including Good Friday.
